Will a 24 inch seat fit your counter?

A 24 inch seat is generally paired with an approximately 36 inch high surface. Measure the underside of the counter, bar or apron and compare the actual legroom with seating you find comfortable. Surface height alone does not guarantee fit.

Check space between supports, room to pull the stool out, and the width and depth of the chosen seat. Footrest position can affect comfort; ask Steve and Bob for a model specific measurement if that is important to your fit.

Backed or backless?

Farmhouse, Cottage and Martha Washington stools have ladder backs and offer slatted wood, solid wood, seagrass or paper cord seats. Their seat dimensions vary by material.

The Round Top 24 Inch Stool has a 13 1/2 inch diameter solid wood seat and no back. Check the complete stool footprint before assuming it will tuck beneath your surface. All stools arrive fully assembled.

Choose your finish and plan delivery

Handmade to order by Troutman in North Carolina. Allow up to approximately 12 weeks to ship, plus transit time. After we submit your configuration to the factory, Steve and Bob will share the estimated production or shipping window as soon as it is available.

Standard shipping is included in the contiguous 48 states. Taxes and optional delivery services are extra. For freight delivery, plan for curbside unloading; liftgate and inside delivery must be arranged in advance. Read delivery, cancellation and return details.
