Choose your dining chair proportions

The original Farmhouse has a compact 16 1/2 inch wide by 13 3/4 inch deep seat and a 16 1/2 inch seat height. Large Farmhouse provides a larger seat and an 18 1/2 inch seat height.

Cottage and Large Farmhouse measure 37 inches from the floor to the top of the back. Tall Back Cottage and Martha Washington measure 44 1/2 inches. These four models have an 18 1/2 inch seat height; seat width and depth vary with the seat style.

Check table clearance and seat material

Measure from the floor to the underside of your table or apron, not only the tabletop. Compare that height with the seat height and your preferred legroom. Check the clear space between table legs and allow room to pull chairs out. Seat width alone does not establish overall chair spacing.

Choose slatted double scoop wood, solid wood, seagrass or paper cord on each model. The comparison table lists the dimensions for each seat style. All five dining chairs arrive fully assembled.

Build a coordinated dining area

Farmhouse, Cottage and Martha Washington collections include coordinating counter and bar stools. Configure four or six chairs, or combine chairs and stools and review the current combined price before adding them to your cart.

Choose your finish and plan delivery

Finish swatches are a guide. Natural wood variation and screen settings can change how a finish appears. Review the finish guide before choosing.

Handmade to order by Troutman in North Carolina. Allow up to approximately 12 weeks to ship, plus transit time. After we submit your configuration to the factory, Steve and Bob will share the estimated production or shipping window as soon as it is available.
